I grew up on a small farm outside Dubbo, NSW.

From the outside, it looked peaceful - open skies, wide fields, and the rhythm of country life.

But inside our home, it wasn’t safe.

As a little girl, I learned early that love could hurt.

My stepfather’s anger, the fear in my mother’s eyes, and the silence that followed…

Those moments shaped the first decision I ever made about myself: “I’m not good enough.”

It wasn’t a thought - it was a feeling that settled into my body.

And for decades, it became the story that ran my life.

And there was another kind of hurt that ran even deeper....

The kind that comes when the boundaries of love and safety are broken by those who should protect you.

I longed to be loved, but not in a way that took my innocence or made me question my worth.

That confusion planted a quiet vow in my heart: no girl should ever have to feel unsafe in her own home, or wonder if love will cost her peace.

For years, I carried that decision - that I wasn’t enough - into everything I did.

I worked hard. Harder than most.

I climbed ladders in banking, built businesses, created wealth.

But no matter how much success I achieved, deep down I was still trying to outrun that one belief.

I wanted safety.

I wanted to prove I was worthy of love.

And I wanted to make sure no woman ever felt what I once felt - abandoned or alone, frightened, and unseen in her own home.

The Day Everything Changed

After my husband Neil passed away, I was forced to start over - emotionally, financially, spiritually.

Then, a few years later, I lost everything again to a fraudulent developer.

The money, the properties, the security I had worked so hard to build - gone.

And yet, in the ashes of all that loss, something else emerged: Clarity.

I realized my life wasn’t just about rebuilding wealth.
It was about rebuilding worth.

The worth that every woman deserves to feel - no matter her past, her pain, or her bank balance.

That realization became the seed of everything I’ve written since: Money Power, Property Power, and Personal Power.

Each book in the Power Trilogy was written to help others reclaim what I had to learn the hard way - that we are never broken, only becoming.
